If you have made at least ONE block in this Jelly Roll Sampler Quilt Along, please comment to this post.

I want to get a better idea of how many have been playing along.
We will have a drawing on Monday, August 30th from all those who have commented to this post.
In the near future, I will be asking for your opinions about what I have planned next so think about this Quilt Along and if you have any feedback for me.
Thanks! Now off to see who my kids have for their teachers this year.
I made most (all?) of them!
ReplyDeleteI've been playing along! Has been fun! Thank you!
ReplyDeleteMy daughter is making the blocks along with me.
ReplyDeleteI've made 11 blocks so far. I'm so excited to make the last block this week!
ReplyDeleteI found out about this about 2 weeks ago, and decided to jump in, even though I am joining really late. So far, the blocks haven't been too difficult and I am LOVING how they are turning out! This is the perfect way to use a Jelly Roll, and I would love it if you did another one in the future!
ReplyDeleteI've made 8 but now got some time to play catch up and hope to be done by the time you post the lay-outs ...
ReplyDeletethank you so much for sharing
I have the last two blocks to do next week. I am new to quilting and this has been a great experience. T
ReplyDeleteI've made them all, and enjoyed it thoroughly, (even through a few moments of frustration!)
ReplyDeleteThis has been so fun! I have made all the blocks and can't wait to put it all together.
ReplyDeleteI have made all but the last two. As soon as I get back from vacation, I will finish, set the blocks and send it off to the quilter! I love it. I used Basic Grey Fruitcake and can't wait to have a holiday quilt!
ReplyDeleteI have made all the blocks and can't wait to put it all together. This has been so fun!
ReplyDeleteI have been playing along. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteI'm participating, but got a very late start just a few days ago. However, it's taking me longer to choose the fabrics from my scrappy jelly roll than it does to whip the blocks together. Eight blocks completed, with just four to go. I haven't a clue yet about how I'm going to unify all of my blocks into one quilt, but it will be a fun challenge. I'm open to any suggestions.
ReplyDeleteI've been making the blocks right along, and have them all done except the most recent. It's been a lot of fun, and I look forward to seeing what you have planned next.
ReplyDeleteI have all but #12 done...it's been so much fun...thank you so much.
ReplyDeleteI'm working on the last block today
ReplyDeleteI have them all finished but the final one.
ReplyDeleteI've had a good time with it. So thx.
I have been playing along from the start, have gotten 2 of my friends involved too. We have enjoyed it immensely! Posting on the flicker site was a great idea, can't wait to see everyone's quilts put together.
ReplyDeleteI have made all the blocks and they are also all 12 on the flickr group (plakhuis). Those blocks with these awfull light colors. I somethimes even did not the for or bagside of the fabric. But I was intnet to finish it so I do. But because I like the blocks very much I think I make it again in more colorfull fabric. Thanks for all who have designed the blocks and thank you for set this project up!!! Can not wait for tomorrow!
ReplyDeleteI've made 11 out of 12 blocks in two colour ways. I'm really pleased with how they have come out.
ReplyDeleteGreat;I have enjoyed this JR- project. It has been a good challenge. I have all but #12 done. Soon back from a holiday,so another picture of the last 3 blocks to be posted. My Moda Prairie Paisley roll is an old one, glad to have been able to use it. Looking forward to finishing the quilt! Also interesting to have read about all the designers of each block I have made.
ReplyDeleteThanking you ever so much for arranging it all:-)
I made all 12 blocks! I've really enjoyed the quilt along and visiting the designers blogs.
ReplyDeleteI have made one block, but have saved the instructions for all. I will work on them as my next project. Love the variety. Next time I will stop my regular project to make one block along with everyone else.

Hugs and blessings.
I have made nine blocks so far and am working on number ten today. I hope to have them all finished this week.
ReplyDeleteI have gotten so far behind, but I'm trying to catch up! I got scared when one of the blocks looked complicated and just fell off the quilt along wagon. It doesn't help that my jelly roll is pretty hideous, lol. But, I am making progress and will be posting the blocks as I finish them :)
ReplyDeleteI'm embarrassed to say I've still only made four blocks so far, but I have all of the patterns and I will get back to it soon!!
ReplyDeleteI have really enjoyed the Jelly Roll Quilt Along. I hope there are more quilt alongs to follow!

ReplyDeleteThankyou for providing this quilt along. I have thoroughly enjoyed making the blocks and can't wait to see the suggested layouts we might use. It was good to see what you could do with a jelly roll and a bit of yardage. Thanks again to you and to all the designers who provided the additional blocks.
ReplyDeleteI just started a few days ago. I made about 5 blocks. Will post number 12. This was exactly what I needed as I had never done a Jelly Roll.

ReplyDeleteI have really loved this, I am behind a couple of blocks because the summer has been so busy but please do it again!
ReplyDeleteI love the project. Each block was great and so different. I have a few more to complete. Life got complicated half way through the QAL. I love the time between, 2 weeks was good. I put a reminder on my calendar each week to look forward to the next block. I hope to have all blocks completed by the end of the month. Add some sashing, and A great quilt. I feel a kinship with all those were making and sharing their blocks along the way. Thanks for all your hard work.

ReplyDeleteSusan in NC
I have made the first two blocks because starting Sept I am sharing your block instructions with my quilt club. We will be making two blocks each month. I think it will be a lot of fun since most of us don't have blogs or flicker accounts. So we will be doing what you have been doing except in person. I'm guessing about 15 people will participate. Thanks for the fun quiltalong. Mary Jo
ReplyDeleteI have all but the last one made, I'm pretty excited to finish! I can't wait to see all the finished quilt tops in the flickr pool, it's been a long time coming!

Will start putting everything together next week, hopefully will get both tops done to post on time. Thanks to all who contributed and to all your hard work putting this all together. I would like to participate in whatever you have coming up next. If it's scrappy--great! If it's another jellyroll, I have the perfect one, thanks to your generosity when I was a block winner. Keep up the great work!

ReplyDeleteI've been quilting along, too, from my stash as nice jelly rolls aren't that easy to find here in Australia. I substituted a couple of the blocks for others that I wanted to try. I like to think of that as creative, rather than non-compliant :-)
ReplyDeleteI think I only have the last two to make this weekend and then I will finish the top.
ReplyDeleteI have several done.

ReplyDeleteI have made 4 blocks. My husband became quite ill the end of April. I would like to start in again. Is it too late? May I print the instructions for layout without the buttons on the side of the page? Thanks for the inspiration and opportunity to make something beautiful.
ReplyDeleteAm almost finished with my blocks. Thanks for the patterns.

ReplyDeleteDianne from Brisbane in Queensland Australia just wanted to say a big thankyou for doing such a great job with this quilt along. 12 different blocks and a chance to look at other designers too. I don't have my own blog and haven't posted any pictures but I've done all the blocks and wanted to let you know that TWELVE avid quilters have joined in the fun from the start and most are close to a finish. Some used jelly rolls, others japanese fabrics. Thanks to everyone who did post on the flickr site as that was good for inspiration. One day I might be better at the computer and be able to show pictures. Just wanted to say thanks and let you know 12 of us played along and spent our patchwork mornings busily picking fabrics and making the lovely blocks each fortnight.
ReplyDeleteI've enjoyed doing the mystery. I also enjoyed meeting you in Paducah this past spring. I have my blocks all put together and are now putting the borders on. I can't wait to get this one done.
ReplyDeleteI just love all the blocks in this quilt. Love BOM projects.
ReplyDeleteI finished my Jelly Roll Sampler Quilt Top today!!!
ReplyDeleteI really enjoyed these blocks! Thanks so much for having this quilt along.
