One highlight was meeting this quilter (whose name I didn't write down quick enough -- sorry! -- I'm pretty sure it started with J). She brought a quilt she had made from my Simply Charming Collection book. I love seeing what people have made from my patterns! She also gave me a couple great suggestions that I will be implementing in my next book.
Thanks to the Squirrel's Nest for having me! I love meeting fellow quilters. (And --who would've guessed -- they have a great selection of oriental fabric at the Squirrel's Nest so you know I came home with some!)

You know you have a great job when you can bring the baby along and everyone loves it. Quilters love babies! Thanks for organizing the jelly roll project. I have never used pre-cut fabric. Wow, these things almost sew themselves!

I really like the look of your new quilt..almost like a fractured Irish Chain. How fun to have baby with you on the trip and I know there were plenty of grannys around just oooohhhing and ahhinnng.
Your baby looks SO sweet there. She certainly is being exposed to the world of quilting at a young age!!! LOL
