It's that time of year . . .

when sewing machines take a break from sewing quilts and sew strange things like bat wings,

a couple princess capes,

a witch's cape,

and a fleece ninja turtle that hasn't been photographed yet.

What strange things has your sewing machine been sewing lately?

Well... I think the last thing my poor sewing machine did was to hem a pair of jeans. Hardly inspiring... Your projects look like much more fun!

A Flower Girl costume, this is my 4yr old daughters imagined super hero - she has flower power. I can later use the costume for jammies, cannot beat that.

My sewing machine has been busy sewing Batman complete with headpiece and cape and James from Thomas the Train character. Need to get back to quilting as there is a baby quilt request that has been made.
