I wanted to pass along some sad news. Jovita, the designer of our fabulous quilt along block Make Mine a Double, had her twins a few days ago. Unfortunately, she wasn't due for quite a while, so her babies "are in the arms of angels now." While there isn't anything we can do, perhaps it would help in a small way to know there are people around the world who care about her. Thanks for letting us know. I know that this is a difficult time for the family. Loss is always rough, but when it is a child (or children) it is almost unbearable.
Very sad to be hearing this. I was one of the winners some time back,and she was the one to send me the prize for that month. Yes,must be unbearable. Thanks for letting us know.
I was amazed at how gracious her post was; I started bawling on the spot.
